Christiane Peters is a Senior Security Architect in the IBM Security Services Global Center of Competence (CoC). The CoC is a team of subject matter experts who deliver services projects through leveraging market leading solutions and innovative approaches across all security areas to protect your business. Christiane leads the Global Cryptography Services practice which is part of the Data & Application Security competency. The Cryptography Services practice supports IBM’s clients in their data protection needs particularly with respect to setting strategies around use of cryptography, encryption, and in general data security. Christiane has a background in cryptographic research. She actively stays in touch with recent developments by reaching out to both academic and industrial research programs. She regularly gives presentations at conferences and lectures on the subject of Enterprise Security Architectures, Data Protection, and IoT security.
