Lindsey Lurie is the Chief Marketing Officer for IBM Security & Cognitive Applications. In this role, she is responsible for the design and execution of marketing programs globally for IBM’s cybersecurity business and the Cognitive Applications portfolio, consisting of IBM’s Weather & Media, Talent & Collaboration, Supply Chain, IoT, and Developer Marketing organizations. Leading an organization of over three hundred marketing professionals around the world, Lurie’s team helps bring the IBM Security & Cognitive Applications strategies to life through innovative digital journeys, marketing campaigns & events. She is known for building strong partnerships between marketing & sales where marketing impacts the business in quantifiable ways. Lurie balances a creative mindset with analytics to build memorable client experiences. Her nearly twenty years of experience with IBM spans marketing and communication roles across multiple businesses with areas of expertise including brand marketing, demand generation, product marketing, digital, channel marketing, advertising and event execution. Lurie earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business, and a BS in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She is especially passionate about building high performance, data driven, agile teams - while having fun along the way.
