Mark Ehr
Product Manager, IBM Security
Mark Ehr is a Denver, Colorado native and 30-year technology veteran who spent the first decade of his career working in software engineering followed by 7 years in pre- and post-sales roles with Sybase, Siebel and Cabletron. He then spent 5 years as entrepreneur and CTO of systems management firm Polarsoft, which sold in 2001. Mark then joined industry analyst firm EMA, spending 4 years as Research Director overseeing systems management and security. He then moved into product marketing, first working for BSM vendor Proxima Technology followed by federated identity security vendor Ping Identity and then BigFix, acquired by IBM in 2010. Today Mark continues his IBM career as a product manager, overseeing IBM Security QRadar Risk Manager.
