Rich serves as Program Director for Business Development for the IBM Security Systems Division, and leads its technology ecosystem, Ready for IBM Security Intelligence, with additional responsibilities in business and corporate development. Rich has been active in the IT Security industry for the last 15 years, and his experience ranges from multiple start-ups such as Atlanta based Internet Security Systems (ISS) and GuardedNet to publically traded companies including Apple and IBM. He joined IBM in 2006 via the acquisition of Micromuse, where he was Director of Security Products & Business Development. Prior to that he was a five-year veteran of Internet Security Systems (ISS), holding leadership positions in product management and business development.
