Simon Smith

Security Technical Specialist, IBM
Simon has worked in Information Security for 20 years, going back to early commercial firewalls and first generation intrusion detection systems. He now specializes in Security Intelligence and Threat Protection and has been involved in designing and deploying a number of complex systems in these areas. His particular interests are around the successful use of technical solutions to solve business problems and developing the concept of Security Intelligence. Simon graduated from King’s College London and has been a CISSP since 2004.
