Gene has been a computer forensics analyst for 9 years and has over 21 years of experience in supervision and leadership in business management. Gene additionally has 11 years of experience in law enforcement, 7 of which were spent as a Computer Forensic Analyst and Criminal Investigator. He currently uses all he has learned from these positions in his role for IBM Emergency Response Services. Gene has traveled the country and Europe teaching computer forensic techniques and methodologies in addition to authoring instructional material for Advance Window Forensic Investigations and other advanced topics. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit volunteer group IACIS (International Association of Computer Investigative Specialist). Gene has received training from IACIS, SANS Institute, US Secret Service, Guidance Software, ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children), CISCO Network Academy and Oceans Systems (Video Forensic Analysis). He currently holds the following computer forensic certifications: CEECS, CFCE and GCFA.
